The class format: We always start with the date, the time, the weather, and other routine activities (such as 2 Truths and 1 Lie, or a crossword for each letter of the alphabet). Then we proceed to the main part of the lesson, whether that is grammar, pronunciation, a cultural activity, or other important ideas. We finish with discussing what you will do over the upcoming weekend.

This 106 class will start to focus more on speaking among the students.

Topics previously covered in 105: A review of self introductions (age, where you live, your work, etc), parts of the house + furniture + draw a map of your house, tongue twisters, demonstrative pronouns (celui, celle, ceux, etc), interrogative pronouns (lequel, lesquelles, etc), interrogative adjectives (quel, quelle, etc), pronunciation of plus, asking questions, direct object pronouns, using si to respond to a negative question, short review of present tense
